Desired Qualifications

• Current Washington State SPED license & ESA certificate (must provide verification)
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Direct experience working in schools with transitional-age students preferred
• Proven ability to adapt to new environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Must be able to work onsite; remote or virtual options not available

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as lead educator in an 18-22 transition classroom
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with students, families, and school staff to support successful transitions
• Deliver engaging, adaptive lesson plans and assess progress toward goals
• Maintain student records and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
