This is a full-time, on-site role with 37.5 hours per week, serving both middle and elementary school caseloads. What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Valid Georgia Special Education (SPED) license or certification
  • Proven experience working with students in a school-based special education setting
  • Strong background in classroom management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to support, monitor, and help implement IEPs
  • Full-time (Monday–Friday) onsite availability
  • Commitment to accurate documentation and positive communication with families and staff

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering tailored instructional programs for students on the autism spectrum
  • Collaborating with general education staff and related service providers to create inclusive learning environments
  • Effectively managing classrooms and providing behavioral support as needed
  • Tracking and documenting student progress and participating in IEP meetings
  • Engaging in regular communication with parents and support staff to ensure student success
  • Maintaining compliance with all state and district requirements
