Dedicated educators with a passion for supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are needed for full-time, on-site roles serving elementary and secondary classrooms for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This rewarding contract position offers the chance to make a significant impact through specialized instruction in special education.

Successful candidates will bring expertise in providing individualized instruction, collaborating closely with general education peers, and contributing to the development and implementation of IEPs. The position spans 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, and involves maintaining comprehensive documentation and effective classroom management.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia Special Education Teacher license or certification (must provide verification)
  • Experience delivering services in a school-based special education setting strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to foster productive relationships and teamwork with faculty and support staff
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and behavior management skills
  • Availability for full-time, in-person work throughout the full academic year

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver adapted curriculum and individualized support for students with ASD
  • Manage and implement IEP goals; accurately document student progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including general education teachers and related service providers
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with families and guardians regarding student achievements and goals
