Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Special Education Certificate required
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the SPED Case Manager and Teacher for one middle school and one high school caseload
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Partner with general education teachers, therapists, parents, and support staff to coordinate services and accommodations
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both resource and inclusion settings
  • Track progress, manage intervention strategies, and keep accurate, timely records
  • Attend team meetings, contribute to school initiatives, and maintain compliance with all educational guidelines
