You'll be based onsite at a well-regarded elementary campus serving a mild to moderate caseload. The contract runs from August 20, 2026, to June 3, 2027, with consistent Tuesday–Friday hours and Mondays off for enhanced work-life balance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Teacher licensure required
  • Experience working with mild/moderate special education caseloads, preferably in an elementary school environment
  • Strong collaboration skills for partnering with general education teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive classroom communities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs
  • Track and report on student progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents and specialists
  • Create an engaging, structured learning environment where all students can thrive
  • Support school-wide initiatives promoting academic and social-emotional growth

This contract role requires you to be on campus, ensuring direct support for your students and maximum collaboration with faculty. The four-day workweek allows for extended weekends, giving you space to recharge and focus on professional responsibilities.
