Special Education Teacher | Aurora, Colorado

This role is scheduled to begin August 11 and continue through May 21, aligning with the school year calendar for a consistent and structured work schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Current CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement is mandatory
• License must read: Professional Teacher License #000000, Endorsed In: Special Education Generalist (5-21)
• Proof of application required if permanent license is pending
• Substitute, temporary, interim, or similar licenses cannot be accepted unless full SPED licensure and correct endorsement are already in process
• Previous experience in developing and implementing IEPs and working with students on alternative standards is essential
• In-depth understanding of instructional strategies, differentiated teaching, and collaboration with IEP teams
• Candidates must be available for on-site work; positions are not open to remote (VOCO) or hybrid models

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support for students with disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to align with student goals
• Coordinate and collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families
