Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university required
- Valid Colorado educator license in Early Childhood Special Education (see specific accepted certifications below)
- Experience working with preschool-aged students with disabilities
- Proficient in both standardized and general education assessments for literacy and math
- Must be eligible to pass district-specific background checks
Responsibilities:
- Assess, teach, and provide support to students with disabilities across service settings
- Perform eligibility assessments and develop IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Plan, deliver, and adapt culturally responsive instruction
- Maintain documentation and ongoing communication with families
