High School Middle School Special Education Teacher in Aurora, IL

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support middle and high school students in a co-teaching environment. The role is a full-time, FMLA contract position designed to provide continuity and specialized support in the classroom.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborating with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive classroom practices
• Supporting student progress through individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Special Education License (LBS1) required
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with co-teachers and support staff
