This contract opportunity focuses on delivering specialized instruction within an Extended School Year (CSY) program, serving a student population where every individual has an active IEP. Your expertise will guide students with emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and related challenges toward growth in both academic and behavioral domains.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification, including LBS1 endorsement
- Proven experience supporting students with emotional and learning disabilities
- Solid capability to tailor individualized support according to IEP goals and needs
- Demonstrated strength in classroom management and positive behavior intervention
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted, direct instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
- Implement robust academic and behavioral strategies to close skill gaps
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including related service professionals and support staff
- Continuously monitor, assess, and document student progress with accuracy
