Collaborate with classroom teams, including paraprofessionals, and foster a supportive environment for learners facing a variety of challenges, including high-incidence disabilities. Some roles may involve assistance with toileting as needed and managing a range of classroom behaviors, ensuring all students can thrive in their educational journey.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (required)
• Experience in special education, inclusive and/or structured classroom settings preferred
• Confidence in managing classroom behaviors and supporting students’ personal care needs if required
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered instruction
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction in collaboration with general educators and support staff
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum to meet varying academic and behavioral needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Communicate regularly with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Document progress and adjust strategies as needed
