For the math role, dual credentials in Special Education and Mathematics are required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current teaching certification in Special Education (required for all roles)
• For the math classroom, valid credentials in both Special Education and Math
• Experience working in behavioral, special education, or inclusive general education classrooms
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Adaptability and understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored instructional plans to meet individual student needs
• Maintain an organized, safe, and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor and document student growth, collaborating with staff and families on progress
• Provide positive behavioral supports and modifications as necessary
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, professional development, and faculty collaboration
