Depending on the assignment, you’ll be working in dedicated behavioral classrooms, special education settings, or general education math classrooms where both SPED and Math credentials are required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (required for all roles)
• Math teaching credentials in addition to Special Education credentials for general education math setting
• Experience in behavioral, special education, or inclusive classroom environments
• Ability to implement IEPs and differentiated instructional strategies
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans aligning with students’ IEP goals
• Foster an engaging, supportive, and adaptive learning environment
• Monitor student progress, collecting data and reporting outcomes
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based problem-solving
• Employ evidence-based strategies to support positive student behavior and achievement
