Open Roles:
- High School Focus Teacher: Guide students in an inclusive behavior program. Foster growth for students needing redirection, support, and a quiet space to self-regulate, with behaviors that are not severe or pervasive.
- Elementary Inclusion/Resource Teacher: Collaborate with general education teachers, providing support in classroom settings, and deliver modified instruction in specialized settings as needed.
- Alternate Curriculum Class (Lifeskills) Teacher for both elementary and high school: Deliver instruction tailored for students with cognitive impairments requiring alternate curriculum, focusing on life skills and functional learning.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification applicable to Texas.
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with diverse learning needs, including behavioral interventions and life skills programming.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented atmosphere for all learners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt materials to accommodate student needs.
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes.

- Support students in both pull-out and push-in models, as appropriate to assignment.
