Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students in special education settings, including behavioral or lifeskills programs (preferred)
• Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt lesson plans and strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and develop content to help students meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Implement behavior intervention plans and maintain supportive, structured classroom environments
• Conduct assessments and track student progress through formal documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with all team members
