This position offers the opportunity to work with a caseload of approximately 200 students (including those with dyslexia, speech impairments, and special education eligibility), facilitating both ARD meetings and 504 plan implementation.
Your expertise in facilitating Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, along with 504 experience, will make a significant impact as you navigate compliance, coordinate support with interdisciplinary teams, and foster a positive educational environment. The school utilizes SuccessEd for documentation and compliance management, streamlining your daily workflow.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Texas Department of Education License – Special Education required
- Strong background in ARD facilitation and 504 coordination
- Proficient in running and moderating meetings with diverse teams and family members
- Familiarity with SuccessEd or similar educational management systems a plus
- Ability to adhere to policy standards, including a professional appearance
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor a high-volume caseload, ensuring timely completion of all compliance tasks
- Organize and facilitate ARD and 504 meetings, collaborating with Special Education staff and general educators
- Coordinate with families and outside agencies as needed to guarantee student success
