Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Educator License with Special Education Endorsement
• Experience attending and actively participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Commitment to professional standards, including adherence to dress code for equality and community: no visible tattoos, single-color hair, professional attire, and limited earrings
• Ability to implement positive behavior supports tailored to a diverse student population
• Dedication to ongoing professional development, including participation in SAMA (Satori Alternative to Managing Aggression) training provided on-site in October

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction focused on foundational academic and daily living skills
• Modify and adapt instructional materials to meet unique student learning needs
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and faculty to optimize student growth
• Maintain thorough progress monitoring and documentation
• Serve as a team member at ARD meetings, contributing insights to shape student IEPs
• Uphold a classroom climate of respect, dignity, and positivity
