The first role focuses on the inclusion model at a local high school, guiding students in the Academic Career Connections (ACC) program through collaborative teaching, classroom adaptation, and direct instructional support. The second position offers the chance to lead a self-contained classroom for the STARS program at an elementary level, providing individualized teaching strategies and fostering positive behavioral growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification required
• Experience working with diverse learners and adaptive instruction
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress tracking
• Strong collaboration skills with general education teachers and support staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and evaluate instructional lessons tailored to student IEP goals
• Partner with general education teachers (for the inclusion setting) to adapt curriculum and maximize student success
• Maintain data-driven records and ongoing communication with families and service providers
• Foster independence and self-advocacy in students, adapting strategies to meet evolving classroom needs
• Manage classroom routines and positive behavior intervention plans, particularly in self-contained settings
