Special Education Teacher in Austin, TX

A Special Education Teacher position is available with various classroom settings, including Self-contained, Co-teaching, and Resource rooms. This contract role is located in Austin, TX and requires expertise in IEP writing and case management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and teach special education students across multiple classroom types
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers in co-teaching environments
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and case management documentation
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration to support student growth

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience with IEP development and case management
