Special Education Teacher Job in Austin, TX

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide instruction and case management for a caseload of roughly 30 students at one of our client schools in Austin, Texas. This position is for a resource classroom and requires that applying teachers be required to write individualized education plans and attend ARD meetings. This position has a strong chance of renewing upon showing strong performance and attendance. Teachers will have their choice of age group, either EC-6 or 6-12.

Requirements:

• Texas Educator License - Special Education and General Education Endorsements.
• Teachers must be able to write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPs) and work with related services staff.
• 2 Years of Recent Teaching Experience Preferred
