Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Educator License with EC-12 Special Education and Generalist/Core endorsements required
  • Strong background in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) processes—ability to contribute and participate actively in ARD meetings
  • Flexible to work with either EC-6 or 6-12 caseload (25-30 students)
  • Commitment to upholding school dress policies (no visible tattoos, single color hair, limited earrings, professional attire)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for special education students
  • Collaborate in ARD meetings and provide meaningful input to support student achievement
  • Maintain positive classroom culture and communication with staff and families
  • Flexibly manage a caseload in alignment with best practices and local regulations
