You’ll support an engaging group of approximately 20 high school students, focusing on crucial transition plans and graduation supplements. While the caseload is manageable, it calls for a teacher who takes pride in offering specialized care and guidance. Bring your Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) expertise, and become an active participant in a team of high school professionals celebrated for their skill and commitment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Department of Education License with Special Education and Generalist/Core Endorsements (required)
  • Experience participating and contributing in ARD meetings
  • Commitment to fostering inclusivity—professional attire, natural hair colors, and minimal visible tattoos/piercings as per dress code
  • High School Special Education experience preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated instruction and support for a caseload of around 20 high school students
  • Develop effective plans tailored to transition and graduation requirements
  • Attend ARD meetings, contribute actively, and collaborate with families/staff
  • Uphold a positive, encouraging learning environment
