Two special education teacher opportunities are available, working with PreK-aged children in an engaging setting. The academic year runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. These positions will span multiple sites across the district and will be tailored to each professional’s experience and strength.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
- Valid certification/license for Special Education teaching
- Experience working with early childhood and/or PreK students preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet each student’s unique needs
- Commitment to providing inclusive, developmentally appropriate education
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 10–20 PreK students
- Implement evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to a range of learning needs
- Collaborate closely with other educators, related services personnel, and families across several school sites
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth for all learners
