Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification and licensure in Special Education
  • Experience with individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
  • Ability to adapt curriculum and materials to meet varying learning styles and needs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for working across grade levels (high school, middle school, K-8)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging, resource-level instruction for assigned grade band (high school, middle school, or K-8)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for growth
  • Work collaboratively with general education staff, support personnel, and families
  • Track and report student progress in alignment with district goals and regulatory guidelines
  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation
