Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Previous experience working with students with a range of disabilities preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Knowledge of current best practices and compliance regulations in Special Education

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, adapt, and deliver instructional materials tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Assess students’ abilities and develop appropriate educational plans and accommodations
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
• Work closely with parents, colleagues, and administrators to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Play an active role in IEP meetings and related team discussions
