Qualifications and Experience:

• Current state certification as a Special Education Teacher, or eligibility for certification
• Proven experience or strong interest in working with students with varying disabilities
• Knowledge of creating, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff and caregivers
• Adaptability and organization for working across two locations with a caseload of 25–30 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to assigned students, adapting curriculum to meet unique learning needs
• Develop individualized lesson plans and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to deliver comprehensive support
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and strategies for success
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding special education documentation
• Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

Job Features:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Daily schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Convenient assignment—both schools are under a mile apart, minimizing travel time during the day
