Life Skills Special Education Teacher – Azle, TX

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate Life Skills Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite role. This position supports students with significant adaptive and academic needs, focusing on functional academics, daily-living skills, and social development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with life-skills goals

• Teach functional academic skills, self-care, social and communication routines

• Provide direct instruction in a self-contained or life-skills classroom

• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and school staff

• Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and achievement

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Special Education Certification

• Experience in self-contained or life-skills special education settings preferred

• Excellent communication, patience, and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits:
