What We’re Looking For:

• Current Missouri certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Prior experience working with K-12 students
• Familiarity with both self-contained and resource classroom settings
• Proven ability to manage and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Ability to perform all typical responsibilities expected of a Special Education Teacher
• Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for student growth
• Adaptability, a growth mindset, and a consistently positive attitude

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and implement IEPs to ensure individualized instruction for each student
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages student confidence and independence
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed for optimal learning outcomes
• Maintain thorough records and participate in meetings to discuss student development
