Soliant is seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to support students in 3rd through 5th grade during the 2026–2027 school year.

This opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about providing individualized instruction and support in an IEP-focused classroom setting.

Assignment Details

Position: Special Education Teacher – LOA
Schedule: Full-Time
School Year: 2026–2027
Assignment Dates: August 24, 2026 – November 14th, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–3:15 PM
Grade Levels: 3rd–5th Grade
Caseload: Approximately 10 students

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction based on individual student learning needs and IEP goals.

  • Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lessons and activities.

  • Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and developmental growth.

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Implement accommodations and modifications outlined in student IEPs.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and educational team members.

  • Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school administrators.

  • Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential/license appropriate to the assignment.

  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.

  • Strong understanding of IEP implementation and individualized instruction.

  • Ability to support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and learning needs.

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience teaching students in grades 3–5.

  • Experience in an IEP classroom setting.

  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.

  • Strong classroom management and behavior-support skills.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams.
