Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience working with students with a variety of disabilities
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and support staff
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess students’ skills, adjust teaching strategies, and monitor progress
• Modify curriculum and adapt materials to meet diverse learner needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and IEP records
• Foster positive, supportive relationships with students and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress
