Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering targeted instruction to preschool-aged students in morning and afternoon sessions, ensuring each child’s unique needs are addressed.
  • Collaborating closely with the Child Find team to write and carry out IEPs for newly identified students.
  • Maintaining compliant, effective IEPs in alignment with student goals.
  • Participating in student assessments, ongoing progress monitoring, and systematic data collection.
  • Contributing to IEP meetings, collaborative team planning, and regular staff discussions.
  • Joining Wednesday professional development and planning sessions (no student contact on these days, allowing for preparation and growth).
  • Communicating consistently with families and other service providers to build strong support systems for each child.

Desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related area.
  • A valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Compassionate approach with a collaborative mindset and proven early childhood special education experience.
