Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont Special Educator licensure required
  • Direct experience as a VT virtual SPED case manager
  • Two supervisor references from previous virtual special education roles
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, case management, and compliance
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with a small, focused support team

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as remote case manager for 45 high school students in two grades
  • Coordinate and lead IEP meetings and all related evaluations
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance of IEPs while tracking progress
  • Maintain consistent, weekly communication with staff and families
  • Analyze academic and behavioral data for informed IEP decision-making
  • Ensure accommodations and modifications are implemented as required
