The Opportunity
A short-term opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a structured self-contained classroom environment during a leave of absence.
Position Highlights
Provide specialized academic instruction
Support individualized student learning and behavioral needs
Implement IEP accommodations and instructional modifications
Collaborate with classroom support staff and service providers
Monitor student achievement and maintain educational records
Candidate Qualifications
Active Special Education teaching certification
Appropriate secondary-level Special Education endorsement
Experience in self-contained classrooms preferred
Strong instructional planning and classroom leadership skills
