We’re seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and individualized support for K–12 students in Battle Creek, Michigan. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to deliver high-quality instruction while collaborating closely with school teams to help students meet their academic and behavioral goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individualized virtual instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.

• Develop, implement, and maintain IEP goals and learning plans.

• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on data.

• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute recommendations.

• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families.

• Maintain accurate documentation per Michigan education requirements.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.

• Active Michigan Special Education teaching certification.

• Previous school-based experience preferred; virtual experience a plus.

• Strong communication, organization, and technology skills.

• Reliable internet and a professional home workspace.

• Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
