Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience in a K-5 special education classroom setting
• Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs and personalized instructional strategies
• Strong communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and team members
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor peers
• Familiarity with curriculum planning, assessment, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead special education teacher, providing instructional support and guidance within K-5
• Develop, monitor, and update individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure compliance and best instructional practices
