Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Ability to work with K-12 students across various disabilities and learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the development/implementation process
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Organized, adaptable, and dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse needs in accordance with each IEP
• Adapt and tailor lesson plans to accommodate various learning styles and capabilities
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service staff
• Maintain accurate student records and track progress
• Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
