What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for emergency or pending certification)
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to a variety of learning styles and student needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with students, families, and staff
• Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is preferred
• Dedication to fostering an encouraging, patient, and positive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Develop, monitor, and report on students’ progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate regularly with other educators, therapists, and support staff
• Build strong relationships with students and families to encourage ongoing academic and social-emotional growth
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations for special education
