Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Push-in Resource Teacher, providing support within general education classrooms.
  • Co-teach in at least two core content subject areas, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage a caseload of 15-20 students, developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Partner with general education teachers and support staff to adapt lessons and classroom strategies.
  • Utilize data-driven interventions to monitor and report on student progress.
  • Foster a positive, engaging atmosphere that encourages academic and personal growth.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification required.
  • Experience with middle school-aged students and familiarity with resource/push-in models.
  • Strong background in co-teaching and modifying curriculum materials.
  • Ability to manage diverse learners and adapt to varied learning needs.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

This position offers a contract of 37.5 hours per week onsite, providing the opportunity to work closely with students and staff in a dynamic school setting.
