What you’ll bring:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification and experience supporting diverse learning needs.
• A strong background in case management and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Flexibility to work effectively across two schools and adapt to different grade-level populations.
• Strong collaborative skills, working with paraprofessionals, service providers, and general education staff.
• Effective communication and a commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Your impact:

• Serve as a full-time case manager and special education instructor for upper elementary (4th grade focus) and middle school (mainly 7th grade) students.
• Manage a caseload of up to 17 students as a solo contractor or 13-14 if positions are shared.
• Support 1:1 services for five students with established individual learning needs.
• Closely coordinate with speech-language providers and integrate virtual therapy into daily instruction.
• Implement IEPs beginning September 9th and set the tone for the academic year starting August 27th.
• Prioritize and provide targeted support at the middle school, shaping a positive, growth-focused classroom culture.
