Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary and/or high school age groups
- Knowledge of creating, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to special education students’ unique needs
- Develop and adapt lesson plans in line with IEP objectives
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure student success
- Track and assess student progress, making instructional adjustments as needed
- Communicate proactively and regularly with families and school personnel regarding student development
