Special Education Teacher | Bedford, New Hampshire

This full-time opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the academic year, supporting primarily 5th and 6th grade students. Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (NH or eligible for reciprocity)
• Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an elementary or middle school setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and families
• Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles and needs
• Organizational skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student in accordance with their IEP goals
• Adapt and modify general education materials, activities, and lessons to fit individual learning plans
• Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers to coordinate supports
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-based decisions and adjustments to instruction as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
