Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement(s)
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities, autism (non-verbal, physical impairments), and/or emotional disabilities
  • Familiarity with BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans), crisis intervention, and social-emotional instructional practices
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to start on 8/24/26 and commit through 6/7/27

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students in a self-contained MD classroom (9–12 students) and a separate ED classroom (10–15 students)
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Administer BIPs and utilize effective crisis intervention techniques
  • Collaborate closely with school teams to support diverse learning needs in a single assigned building
