In this role, you'll work onsite in one building (specific site assigned from Heskett Middle School, Glendale Primary, or Central Primary), supporting classrooms with unique and meaningful challenges:

• One classroom serves 9-12 students with multiple disabilities, including autism, non-verbal needs, and physical impairments.
• Another supports 10-15 students with emotional disabilities, emphasizing social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and behavior intervention plans.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Prior experience with multiple or emotional disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, non-verbal and physically impaired students
• Strong crisis intervention and classroom management abilities
• Ability to implement individualized education plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and tailored instruction to students with a spectrum of needs
• Collaborate on and implement BIPs and IEPs
