Special Education Teacher - Belding, MI

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree with an endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorder or another special education field, or willingness to enroll in the required coursework to obtain endorsement
• Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate
• Skill in managing and de-escalating aggressive behavior—both physically and emotionally
• Proficiency in addressing conflict in a constructive, solution-oriented way
• Readiness to consider alternative but relevant qualifications as deemed appropriate

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instructional plans tailored to the needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student education
