Special Education Teacher - Bellevue, Michigan

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date)
• Experience or strong interest in teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the high school level
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learner needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to classroom management

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized education programs for high school students with ASD
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to promote student engagement and growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and therapists
