Special Education Teacher - Bellevue, Ohio

Take on a meaningful role supporting students as an Intervention Specialist! This contract opportunity runs full-time from August 25th through May 28th, 2027, providing key push-in services to a dedicated group of twelve students in grades 6 through 8. You’ll work closely with students and teachers, implementing specialized strategies that foster academic growth and an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as a Special Education Teacher or eligible Intervention Specialist certification
• Experience delivering special education services within middle school settings is highly preferred
• Deep understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs), accommodations, and effective intervention strategies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide push-in support within general education classrooms for assigned students
• Implement IEP goals and track student progress, making adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administrators to ensure educational objectives are met
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation on student performance and interventions
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom support
