Your expertise as a Special Education Coordinator and Instructional Coach will empower instructional teams, enhance compliance with federal and state mandates, and drive outstanding student outcomes. Collaborating closely with building administrators and fellow educators, you’ll lead the expansion of inclusive practices and ensure a robust continuum of services for all students.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Special Education or a closely related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), with appropriate special education endorsement(s)
• At least three years of experience in the field of special education, preferably with early childhood populations
• Deep knowledge of federal and state special education compliance, IEP facilitation, and best instructional practices
• Strong ability to coach and mentor fellow staff, coordinate services, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as instructional leader and compliance facilitator for special education programming
• Lead and support high-quality instructional and inclusive practices
• Oversee and facilitate IEP meetings, documentation, and compliance efforts
