Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for Illinois
- Experience with cross-categorical programming at the elementary level preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process and individualized instruction
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Flexibility and commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized academic and behavioral instruction to Grade 3 students in a cross-categorical classroom
- Align teaching to grade-level standards and IEP goals
- Implement supports: structured teaching, visuals, communication and sensory aids, and behavioral interventions
- Work closely with program aides, support staff, and related service providers
- Track student progress and adapt instructional strategies
