Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for Illinois
• Experience with cross-categorical programming at the elementary level preferred
• Knowledge of IEP process and individualized instruction
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Flexibility and commitment to supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized academic and behavioral instruction to Grade 3 students in a cross-categorical classroom
• Align teaching to grade-level standards and IEP goals
• Implement supports: structured teaching, visuals, communication and sensory aids, and behavioral interventions
• Work closely with program aides, support staff, and related service providers
• Track student progress and adapt instructional strategies
