Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver cross-categorical, grade-level-aligned instruction for a range of exceptional learners
- Address academic, social-emotional, behavioral, communication, and sensory needs with individualized strategies and supports
- Implement visual, structured teaching tools, and interventions
- Work collaboratively with aides, related service providers, and other educators
