Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred)
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement
• Experience supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver cross-categorical, grade-level-aligned instruction for a range of exceptional learners
• Address academic, social-emotional, behavioral, communication, and sensory needs with individualized strategies and supports
• Implement visual, structured teaching tools, and interventions
• Work collaboratively with aides, related service providers, and other educators
• Maintain compliance with IEPs and ensure the highest educational standards
