Special Education Teacher in Belton, TX

Exciting opportunity for experienced Special Education Teachers to support elementary and middle school students in self-contained classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers a rewarding environment focused on individualized education at a school located in Belton, TX.

Position Details:

• Elementary and Middle School grade levels
• Self-contained classroom settings
• Full-time commitment, 40 hours per week
• Quick start process beginning May 29, 2025

Qualifications: Candidates must hold active certification in one of the following combinations to qualify for an interview:

• EC–12 Special Education AND EC–6 Core certifications
• EC–12 Special Education AND 4–8 Generalist certifications

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student growth
• Manage classroom behavior and create inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and report student progress regularly
• Foster social and academic development appropriate to each grade level
