What you’ll bring:

• Active Texas Teaching Certification required
• Must hold a valid Special Education EC-12 certificate
• At least one additional certification: either EC-6 Core Subjects, 4-8 Generalist, or a 9-12 content area
• Experience in inclusive, resource, or self-contained classrooms is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Your core responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction, accommodations, and modifications according to IEPs
• Develop and implement specialized lesson plans, addressing students’ academic and behavioral needs
• Collect data, track progress, and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for all students
• Maintain regular communication with staff, families, and service providers
• Support students across a range of disability categories and grade levels
