Special Education Teacher - Belton, TX

Multiple positions are available; teaching assignments are determined based on the district’s needs as well as your certifications and prior experience.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas Teaching Certification.
• Must have a valid Special Education, EC-12 certification.
• Achieve a minimum score of 18 points in section D of the Texas Content Competency Worksheet for Special Education Teachers.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, families, and staff.
• Previous experience in special education strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans to address the specific needs of your students.
• Deliver engaging instruction to students with varying disabilities across grade levels EC–12.
• Collaborate with school professionals and families to create a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate student records and work within state and district guidelines.
• Participate in professional development and communicate regularly with your advisory team.

This position offers a rewarding compensation structure, with hourly pay typically ranging between $39 and $42, depending on your degree, certifications, and prior background.
