Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher credentials valid in Oregon
• Prior experience working with IEP development and implementation
• Ability to manage self-contained and/or resource classroom caseloads
• Familiarity with a wide range of special education strategies and supports
• Strong work ethic combined with a growth mindset and a positive, collaborative attitude
• Flexible and solution-oriented approach to meeting student needs

Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt instruction to meet the diverse unique needs of students with disabilities
• Develop, maintain, and execute IEPs in compliance with Oregon education standards
• Assess student growth, document progress, and communicate regularly with parents and interdisciplinary teams
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment, promoting social and academic growth
• Participate in team meetings, staff development, and ongoing training opportunities
